Awareness Campaign under MGMG Programme 
Awareness Compaign on “Science–based Nutrient and Input Management” was organized by ICAR-CRRI (CRURRS, Hazaribag) on 18.05.2026 under ‘Mera Gaon-Mera Gaurav’ Programme at Demotand, Sadar, Hazaribag . Dr. Shiv Mangal Prasad, Principal Scientist (Agonomy) elaborated about different compost making methods like Enriched compost, NADEP compost, Vermicompost as well as Green and Brown Manuring techniques. He also highlighted about the importance of soil testing , use of soil test based balance nutrient use. Dr Prasad also focused on use of climate resilient CRRI Rice varieties suitable for Jharkhand. The programme ended with vote of thanks offered by Mr Rajesh Kumar , Training Assistant , Soil & Water Conservation Office, Demotand, Hazaribag All total 51 progressive farmers/ farm women/rural youths ( Male -12 & Female-39) have taken part from different nearby villages.
