Report on Samuhik Charcha organized by ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack in celebration of Mission Karmayogi – SADHANA Saptah” from 2nd April to 8th April 2026![]()
ICAR–Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, formerly the National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, successfully organized the Samuhik Charcha in offline mode on the topic “National One Health Rice Initiative (NOHRI)- Linking Soil Health, Rice Nutrition, and Human Health in India” under the theme of One Health, delivered by Dr. P. Pannerselvam, Principal Scientist, on 8th April 2026 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM, as part of the celebration of “Mission Karmayogi – SADHANA Saptah” (2nd–8th April 2026), in accordance with F. No. Ag. Edn.01/08/2026-HRM/2791-2933 dated 01.04.2026.
The Samuhik Charcha was attended by a total of 80 employees, comprising scientists, technical staff, administrative staff, and supporting staff of CRRI, including the staff of its regional station and KVKs. Out of the total participants, 17 were female employees and 63 were male employees.
The presentation highlighted the One Health Framework in the rice ecosystem, integrating human, animal, plant, and environmental health through safe production, surveillance, research, and sustainable practices. Its main objective was to ensure food security, disease prevention, natural resource protection, and collaborative sustainable agriculture outcomes.
