Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG) Programme (Team 8) 
A farmer awareness and interaction programme under the Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG) initiative was successfully organized by ICAR–Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack on 19th may 2026 at At- Gadasila, Po- Gadasila, Block- Odapada, Dist- Dhenkanal, Odisha – 759025 under the theme
Balanced Fertilizer Application and Quality Production of Climate-Resilient Rice Varieties. A total of 72 farmers actively participated in the programme, including 19 female farmers and 52 male farmers from the locality.
During the programme, scientists and experts interacted with the farmers and discussed various important aspects related to sustainable rice cultivation, including Balanced fertilizer application for higher productivity, Importance of soil health management, Use of green manure crops for improving soil fertility, Climate-resilient rice varieties and their cultivation practices, Integrated nutrient management for sustainable agriculture, Eco-friendly farming practices for better yield and environmental protection.
