Awareness Campaign under MGMG Programme 
Kisan Gosthi with the FPO (Hazaribagh Sadar Progressive Farmers Producer Company) and associated farmers was organized by ICAR-CRRI (CRURRS, Hazaribag) on 20.05.2026 under ‘Mera Gaon-Mera Gaurav’ with the theme “Science–based Nutrient and Input Management” and Balanced fertilization. The progarmme was conducted at Panchyat Bhavan, Amnari (Block-Sadar, District: Hazaribagh) by Team 15. The Chairman of the FPO, Mr. Ram Prasad Kushwaha welcomed all the participants and briefed about the progranme. Dr. Shiv Mangal Prasad, Principal Scientist (Agonomy) discussed about different compost making methods like Enriched compost, NADEP compost, Vermicompost and requested the FPO to take the initiative to produce at large scale. Dr. B C Verma, Senior Scientist (Soil Science) highlighted about the importance of soil testing, essentiality of different plant nutrients etc. Dr Arunkumara C. G, Scientist (Ag. Entomology) emphasised the importance of bio-fertilizers and biocontrol agents in Agriculture. The programme ended with vote of thanks offered by Mr. Prayag Prasad Mehta, Secretary, FPO. All total 42 person ( Male -22 & Female-20) have taken part during the programme.
