ICAR-CRRI Observes World Environment Day 2025 with Tree Plantation Drive
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, which emphasized the theme of combating plastic pollution, ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack organized a tree plantation drive on 5th June 2025 to promote environmental sustainability and eco-friendly practices. Dr. M.J. Baig, former Director of ICAR-CRRI, graced the event as the Chief Guest and led the plantation activity. Dr. G.A.K. Kumar, Director of ICAR-CRRI, actively participated in the drive by planting saplings within the campus and inspiring staff and researchers to join the initiative with enthusiasm. The event reflected the institute’s strong commitment to minimizing plastic usage, conserving natural resources, and fostering awareness about the need for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.
