ICAR-CRRI organized awareness program on “Balanced Fertilizer Use for Efficient Nutrient Management and Enhanced Crop Production through Advanced Technologies” 
Central Rice Research Institute organized awareness program on Balanced Fertilizer Use for Efficient Nutrient Management and Enhanced Crop Production through Advanced Technologies on 03.06.2026 at KuamangaVillage under Raghunathpur Block of Jagatsinghpur District. In this program, farmers were made aware about the proper use of fertilizers and increase in crop production.In this awareness program, scientists gave the details overview on required fertilizer use. Along with the scientists, local farmer representatives also cooperated in organizing the program.
Dr. Biswajit Mondal, Principal Scientist, Dr. Prakash Chandra Jena, Senior Scientist, Dr.Gaurav Kumar, Scientist, Mr. Padmalochan Dehury, Senior Technical Officer Mr. Ankit Anand, Sr TA, Mr. Tapas Kumar Behera, Sr, Technician from the institute participated in this program and made the farmers aware about the use of different machineries, the need and benefits of balanced fertilizer application. The program discussed the protection of soil health through balanced fertilizer application in paddy and other crops. The discussion also focused on increasing crop production along with water and environment protection and proper application of fertilizers in paddy fields along with organic and natural farming methods. The awareness program discussed increasing farmers’ income through techniques developed at the Paddy Research Center, leaf color charts and natural farming methods. About total 500 farmer 290 sisters and 210 brothers) attended the meeting and actively participated in the discussion. The scientists were supported by farmer sisters and brothers of the village.
