Awareness Campaign under MGMG Programme 
Awareness Compaign on “Science–based Nutrient and Input Management” was organized by ICAR-CRRI (CRURRS, Hazaribag) on 11.05.2026 under ‘Mera Gaon-Mera Gaurav’ Programme at Pundi Panchayat Bhawan, Mandu, Ramgarh. The Mukhiya of the Panchayat, Mrs. Ropan Devi welcomed all the participants and advised to take up the agricultural practices with suggestion of the agricultural scientists. Dr. Shiv Mangal Prasad, Principal Scientist (Agonomy) elaborated about different compost making methods like Enriched compost, Nadep compost, Vermicompost as well as Green and Brown Manuring techniques. Dr. Priyamedha Senior Scientist (Plant Breeding) highlighted about the climate resilient CRRI Rice varieties suitable for Jharkhand. Dr. Arunkumara C G, Scientist (Entomology) had given talk on IPM for rice crop in detail to reduce the pesticide usage. The programme ended with vote of thanks offered by Mr. Shubheshwar Mahto, Krishak Mitra of the panchayat.
