Valedictory Programme of Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on CRRI Bioinoculants
The valedictory programme of the eight-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on CRRI Bioinoculants was held on 23 June 2025 at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack. The event was graced by Prof. H.B. Singh, Former Head, Dept. of Mycology & Plant Pathology, BHU, and Sri Jagat Singh, Director, Regional Center for Organic & Natural Farming, Bhubaneswar, as special guests. Dr. Sanghamitra Samantaray, Director, ICAR-CRRI, presided over the function, and Dr. Upendra Kumar served as the Course Director.
Prof. Singh highlighted entrepreneurial opportunities in the biofertilizer sector through government initiatives, while Sri Jagat Singh shared insights on RCONF’s role in post-startup support. Dr. Samantaray emphasized the significance of biofertilizers in promoting organic agriculture. Dr. Kumar presented the programme report and outlined the future roadmap for participants.
A compendium of lecture notes was released, and certificates were awarded to all 16 participants (14 male, 2 female) from Odisha. Participants shared positive feedback and showed interest in future collaborations with CRRI. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Sai Krishna Repalli, Research Associate (Jaiva Poshak). The programme was conducted under the Jaiva-Poshak project in collaboration with the ABI Centre.
