Training under the Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG) scheme and Khet Bachao Samiti 
Under the Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav (MGMG) scheme and Khet Bachao Samiti, Dr. Golive Prasanthi and team from ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack visited the villages of Sabarang and Sahara under Gram Panchayat Sahada, Bhadrak District, on 09 June 2026, where around 100 farmers from both villages participated in an interactive discussion under the Khet Bachao Abhiyan. Farmers were advised to apply fertilizers precisely using the 4R technique (Right Source, Right Dose, Right Time and Right Method). The discussion emphasized applying soil-test based fertilizer, adopting Integrated Nutrient Management, applying 5–10 t FYM per hectare, using Dhaincha (green manure), and preferring SSP over DAP, with farmers showing keen interest in adopting balanced and sustainable nutrient management practices to safeguard their farmland productivity.
