MGMG Report on National Awareness Campaign on Adoption of Science based Nutrient Management (Team 6) 
On 9th May 2026, MGMG Team-6 conducted an awareness programme at Kathabinda Village of Dhenkanal District with participation of 20 farmers. The programme focused on promoting balanced fertilizer use for sustainable crop production and improving soil health management practices among farmers. Discussions were held on scientific methods of soil sample collection for accurate soil testing and the importance of soil-test-based nutrient management for enhancing fertilizer use efficiency. Farmers were also sensitized on the judicious and reduced use of chemical fertilizers to minimize environmental impacts and maintain long-term soil productivity. The programme witnessed active participation and interaction from the farming community.
