Rashtriya Karmayogi Large scale Jan Seva Program Phase II conducted from 15th to 30th January 2026 at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack

ICAR–Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) successfully organized a one-day Rashtriya Karmayogi training programme for its employees between 15th January and 30th January 2026. The programme was conducted in eight batches, benefiting a total of 253 participants. Seven batches were held at ICAR–CRRI, Cuttack, covering employees from the main institute, the Regional Coastal Rice Research Station (RCRRS), Naira, Andhra Pradesh, and KVK, Santhapur. The eighth batch was conducted on 30th January 2026 at the ICAR–CRRI Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station (CRURRS), Hazaribagh, Jharkhand for employees of the regional station and KVK, Koderma. The programme was coordinated by Dr. P. Panneerselvam, Principal Scientist; Shri. V. Ganesh Kumar, Senior Administrative Officer (SAO); and Shri. Rishi Kant Singh, Senior Finance and Accounts Officer (SFAO), who served as Master Trainers. Dr. GAK. Kumar, Director, ICAR–CRRI, Cuttack, extended his full support for the successful conduct of the programme. Dr. Baijayanti Nayak, Shri. Santhosh Sethi (Senior Technical Officer), and Shri. Sarat Chandra Sahoo (Senior Technical Assistant) also provided assistance in organizing and conducting the programme.
The training programme covered four key modules: (i) Who is a Rashtriya Karmayogi, (ii) Expanding Our Vision of Success and Fulfilment, (iii) Creating Karmayogi Moments, and (iv) The Rashtriya Karmayogi as a Nation Builder. These modules enabled participants to develop a shared understanding of the Rashtriya Karmayogi concept, recognize work as a source of joy and fulfilment, apply Karmayogi ideals in their day-to-day work, and understand their roles as nation builders. Participants expressed that the concepts were communicated very effectively, the programme was highly useful, and they were able to share their views freely. Many participants also emphasized the need for such motivational programmes to be conducted on a regular basis.
