ICAR-CRRI organized Special Campaign 5.0 for institutionalizing Swachhata and minimizing pendency in Government offices (from 2nd to 31st October, 2025) 
As per direction from ICAR, New Delhi and Director of the Institute; the Institute Swachha Bharat Committee led by Dr.Srikanta Lenka, Chairman, ISBC; Drs.Reshmi Raj & Rubina Khanam as Nodal Officersof the program carried out different day to day activities from 2-31 October, 2025. In the very first day of SC 5.0 i.e on 2.10.2025, the Swachha Bharat Committee and Campus Development Committee jointly organized “Garlanding Programme of statues of Mahatma Ganndhi and statues of freedom fighters” in the Reception Corner of the Institute with offering of floral tributes by the Director designate Dr. B. Mondal. Dr.S.Lenka, Chairman briefed on different day to day activities to be undertaken during the period of organization of SC 5.0.
During the said period, the Institute Swachha Bharat Committee members along with staff members, students, project staff, contractual workers of the Institute organized 11 no. of Swachhata (cleaning) activities in the premises of Institute, its residential area and religious place i.e, Sarbeswar Temple; monitoring of swachhata -17 nos. in different laboratories of different Divisions, and administration units; library; Publication Unit, Staff sitting room of Social Science Division.
Also, necessary action has already been initiated through e-office (computer no.- 400596) for condemnation and e-auction of 259 identified items of CID, CPD, CPTD, CRRI Dispensary, Farm Section and Library of this Institute. In this context, the Committee for auction of waste/condemned items including e-waste is working on for disposal of the listed items for making space free and revenue generation.
