Gram Sabha on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week

On November 1, 2025, an Awareness Gramsabha was organized in Ulidihi village, Morada block, Mayurbhanj, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 (Oct 27 – Nov 2), under the theme: “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”Organized by Dr. B. Raghavendra Goud (Scientist) and Shri. Dularam Majhi (Technical Assistant) from ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack, the event commenced with the Vigilance Pledge. A total of 150 farmers (88 male, 62 female), along with Shri Kuwanar Soren (Nayak Sarpanch) and other leaders, and students participated. The core objective was to empower the community for participative vigilance. Villagers were sensitized about the critical need to gain knowledge of government schemes, verify the quality of inputs they receive, and remain vigilant to report any corruption, reinforcing that ethical governance requires collective citizen responsibility.
