Gram Sabha on the Occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week
A Gram Sabha on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week was conducted on 01.11.2025 at Sudusailo village, Kantapada block, Cuttack district, on the theme “Vigilance is Our Shared Responsibility.” A total of 95 farmers, comprising 52 males and 43 females, were present at the meeting. In the programme, Shri Maheswar Jena (Ward Member), Shri Abhay Mallick, Shri Jayram Bhoi, Shri Bishnu Charan Behera, Shri Ram Chandra Bhoi (progressive farmers), students, and members of eight SHG groups participated. The meeting was conducted in the presence of Dr. Srikant Lenka, Principal Scientist, and Dr. P. C. Jena, Senior Scientist, of ICAR–CRRI, Cuttack. The programme began with the Vigilance Pledge. The villagers were made aware of the ill effects of corruption and were encouraged to uphold ethical values in their personal and professional lives. They were also educated about various means and ways to strengthen the fight against corruption and to build a transparent, corruption-free society.
