Awareness Campaign under MGMG Programme 
Kisan Gosthi and awareness programme was organized by ICAR-CRRI (CRURRS, Hazaribag) on 01.06.2026 under ‘Mera Gaon-Mera Gaurav’ with the theme “Science–based Nutrient and Input Management” and Balanced fertilization. The programme was conducted at Panchyat Bhavan, Barkakhurd- Panchyat (Block- Ichak, District: Hazaribagh) by Team 15. Dr. B C Verma, Senior Scientist (Soil Science) highlighted about the importance of soil testing, essentiality of different plant nutrients, importance of balanced fertilization etc. Dr. Someshwar Bhagat, Principal Scientist (Plant Pathology) emphasised the importance of bio-fertilizers and biocontrol agents in Agriculture. He also discussed about the seed treatment to reduce the disease pressure. Dr. Soumya Saha, Scientist (Agronomy) discussed about importance of different compost in balanced fertilization and green manuring. The programme was graced by the Mukhiya of the Barkakhurd Panchyat, Smt. Sita Kumari The programme ended with vote of thanks offered by Mr. Saryu Ram, Progressive farmer. All total 43 farmers (Male -10 & Female-33) have taken part during the programme.
