A training programme on “Optimizing Irrigation for Enhancing Fertilizer Use Efficiency” was conducted on 12th May 2026 at Pegarpada village in Rajkanika Block, Kendrapara by MGMG team 12. The programme focused on efficient irrigation and nutrient management practices for improving soil health and crop productivity. Farmers were trained on balanced nitrogen application using riceNxpert, the use of biofertilizers such as NRRI ENDO-N, and the application of the Customized Leaf Color Chart (CLCC) for improving fertilizer use efficiency through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations. A total of 35 farmers actively participated and expressed interest in adopting these practices for sustainable crop production.
