Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Koderma, organized live telecast of the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) 
A grand programme was organized at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Koderma, for the live telecast of the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme. Around 410 farmers participated in the event and witnessed the live telecast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister releasing the installment directly into the bank accounts of beneficiary farmers. The programme was graced by Hon’ble Smt. Annapurna Devi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development and MP, Koderma, along with Shri Sanjay P. M. Kujur, Additional Commissioner, Koderma, and Shri Amit Kumar Yadav, MLA, Barkatha. On this occasion, experts from ICAR institutions delivered lectures on natural farming, improved rice varieties, and the role of farmers in agricultural development.
Earlier, the programme commenced with the welcome of guests, lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and a welcome address by Dr. Chanchila Kumari, SMS (Home Science). Dr. A. K. Rai, Head and Senior Scientist, KVK Koderma, highlighted the achievements and activities of the KVK. The event also recognized 11 progressive farmers from Koderma district with Certificates of Appreciation for their outstanding contributions in different fields of agriculture. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Vinay Kumar, SMS (Agricultural Extension). KVK scientists and staff, including Ms. Nupur Choudhary, Dr. Debrup Ghosh, Shri Rupesh Ranjan, and others, played an active role in the successful organization of the event.
