Training program for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) from Bhadrak and Koraput districts on “Adoption of CRRI Biofertilizer model
Two days Training programme for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) from Bhadrak and Koraput districts on “Adoption of CRRI Biofertilizer model” was organised from 10-11 July 2025. It was inaugurated by Dr. Sanghamitra Samantaray, Director, CRRI, on 10.07.25. Dr. Upendra Kumar (Course Director) explained about the project, while Dr. Panneerselvam (Course Coordinator) briefed about the day-day to programme. Participants have put forward their interests and aspirations in attending this program. A total of 18 participants (13 male & 5 female), from 9 FPCs from Bhadrak and Koraput districts of Odisha, have participated in this programme. This programme was concluded on 11.07.25 with the presentation of the course report by Dr. Sudipta Paul (Course Coordinator) and the presidential remarks from Dr. Sanghamitra Samantaray, Director, CRRI, mentioning the necessity for the FPOs to take forward the benefits of biofertilizers to the farming community and to reduce the usage of chemical fertilizers. The training programme was conducted under the Jaiva Poshak project, funded by Govt. of Odisha.
