Organizing Livestreaming of PM Kisan Programme
In order to ensure maximum outreach and active participation of farmers in the PM Kisan Utsav Diwas celebrations, the ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (ICAR-CRRI), Cuttack successfully organized the livestreaming of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address and the release of the 20th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
The livestreaming arrangement enabled farmers from the SCSP-adopted villages to witness the event in real-time and benefit from the Prime Minister’s interaction and messages regarding the PM-KISAN scheme and other farmer welfare initiatives.
Dr. G.A.K. Kumar, Director, ICAR-CRRI, along with scientists of different divisions, participated in the programme and interacted with farmers on different improved agricultural practices related to crop improvement, crop production & crop protection aspects.
A total of ninety-five farmers (Male: 64; Female: 31) from the SCSP-adopted villages, viz., Ainepur, Paikasahi, Paramanandpur and Sudusailo of Cuttack district attended the event.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. P.C. Rath, Principal Scientist and Chairman, and Dr. P.C. Jena, Senior Scientist, with active support from the staff of ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack.
