Hon’ble MP Mr. Sukanta Panigrahi Visits ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack
Mr. Sukanta Panigrahi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Kandhamal, Odisha visited ICAR–Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack on 16 October 2025. During his visit, he interacted with Dr. G.A.K. Kumar, Director, ICAR-CRRI, and the Heads of Divisions, Administration and Finance. The discussions focused on the institute’s ongoing research programmes, developmental initiatives, and various government schemes being implemented for the benefit of farmers, particularly the tribal communities, to enhance their livelihood and income opportunities. Mr. Panigrahi appreciated the institute’s efforts in promoting innovative rice-based technologies and its commitment to sustainable agricultural development.
