Farmers Training on Agroecological Intensification for Enhancing Resilience of Smallholders on 18th March, 2025 at Rajualibindha, Bhadrak
Under project “Enhancing Resilience of Smallholders to Climate Change Through Sustainable Intensification and Digital Driven Knowledge Dissemination (E-CHASI)” a farmers training on “Agroecological Intensification for Enhancing Resilience of Small Holders” held at Rajualibindha, Bhadrak on 18th March, 2025. The programme was attended by Dr. Sangita Mohanty, Senior Scientist, CPD, Dr. Raghu S., Crop Protection Division of ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack and Dr. BS Satapathy, IIWM, Bhubaneswar, Mr. Sudhakar Mahalik, Sarpanch representative, Mr. Adikanda Nayak, Society president of Rajualibindha, Bhadrak. A total of 106 farmers from Rajualibindha and Sahada villages of Bhadrak district participated in the training. Scientists interacted with farmers on various aspects of agroecological intensification e.g. rice based crop diversification, improved nutrient, pest and disease management practices for enhancing climate change resilience of small holders.
