Campaign on the balanced use of fertilizers was undertaken under the MGMG programme by a team from the RCRRS, ICAR–CRRI 
A nationwide campaign on the balanced use of fertilizers was undertaken under the Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav programme by a team from the Regional Coastal Rice Research Station, ICAR–CRRI. During the programme, farmers were sensitized to the importance of soil testing, balanced fertilizer use, integrated nutrient management, and the efficient utilization of fertilizers and organic nutrient sources to sustain soil health and enhance crop productivity. The team also emphasized the importance of green leaf manure crops in improving soil health and reducing the excessive application of synthetic fertilizers. In addition, the use of compost and decomposers was highlighted as a means to improve overall productivity and promote balanced fertilization.
