Field Exhibition of Laser Based Land Leveling Machine for Better Agricultural Resource Management and Awareness on Balanced Fertilizer Application

Central Rice Research Institute organized a field exhibition of Laser Based Land Leveling Machine for Better Agricultural Resource Management and Awareness on Balanced Fertilizer Application on 20.05.2026 at Nishchintkoili Village under Baliapada Block of Cuttack District. In this program, farmers were made aware about the benefits of land leveling through Laser Land Leveler, water conservation, proper use of fertilizers and increase in crop production. In this exhibition, scientists gave practical knowledge to the farmers about the working principle of Laser Land Leveler. Scientists expressed the opinion that proper land leveling saves irrigation water, improves crop growth and reduces the cost of production of farmers. Many farmers participated in the program and showed interest in Laser Land Leveler technology. Along with the scientists, local farmer representatives also cooperated in organizing the program.
