Advancing Sustainable Agriculture: Farmer Field School Orientation Drives Biofertilizer Adoption and Agronomic Innovations <\/strong><\/p>\r\nFarmer Field School (FFS) orientation program focusing on CRRI Biofertilizer applications and advanced crop management was successfully conducted on October 15, 2026, at Puran Raghunathpur village within the Raghunathpur block. Organized under the state-funded project \"Production, Popularisation & Supply of Quality Bioinoculants in Rice-Based Cropping & Farming System of Odisha\" (Jaiva Poshak), this institutional event was executed in close collaboration with the SiddhaGorekha Farmer Producer Company Limited (SiddhaGorekha FPCL) to promote long-term soil health and scale up agricultural returns. The orientation drew an enthusiastic turnout of around 63 local agriculturalists, including 34 women and 29 men.\r\nThe training program was coordinated by Dr. Annie Poonam, Principal Scientist. Dr. Poonam led the strategic instruction, emphasizing the integration of best agronomic practices utilizing CRRI crop varieties. She highlighted how farmers can systematically enhance their household revenue by adopting Integrated Farming Systems (IFS), while strongly stressing the immediate necessity of replacing synthetic chemical options with biofertilizers to secure sustained plant and soil biological health. Building upon these core strategies, Dr. Repalli educated the gathering on the targeted field applications and management advantages of specialized bio-innovations, focusing extensively on the deployment of NRRI Endo N, NRRI Endo NPK, Rhizobium, PSB, Trichoderma, Azolla, and Tech NRRI Decomposer to minimize cultivation costs and provide natural biological disease control.\r\nPractical field demonstrations and farmer coordination were efficiently handled by Sri Akshya Kumar Moharana, Technical Officer, who guided the attendees through the precise, step-by-step methodologies required to integrate these bioinoculants into local cropping frameworks. The program was moderated by Sri Akshya of SiddhaGorekha FPCL, ensuring active community interaction and field-level alignment. The ground execution, logistics, and technical setups were seamlessly facilitated by project staff members Ms. Parthivi and Mr. Bhudia Bhoi. This orientation serves as a vital initial milestone for regional agricultural extension by establishing a robust peer-to-peer framework. Equipped with advanced technical knowledge on balanced fertilizer allocation and crop management, the participating farmers are now prepared to act as local master trainers, driving knowledge transfer to neighbouring clusters to build a self-sustaining, high-yielding, and eco-friendly farming ecosystem.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
