The programme aimed to develop Master Trainers among BAOs, AAOs and ADAs for effective implementation of in-situ and ex-situ residue management technologies.\r\nThe training covered microbial decomposition, composting, residue recycling and biodegradable pulp plate production, along with practical demonstrations and SOP guidelines. Twenty-nine participants (17 male and 12 female) from 12 districts attended the programme.\r\nThe programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rahul Tripathi, Principal Scientist and Course Director, with Dr. Sangita Mohanty, Course Coordinator, welcoming the participants. Dr. P. Panneerselvam, Principal Investigator of the project, highlighted the project objectives and role of Master Trainers. The programme concluded with the remarks of Dr. G. A. K. Kumar, Director, ICAR\u2013CRRI, who emphasized scientific residue management for improving soil health, enhancing farmers\u2019 income and reducing pollution.
