Each technical session combined discussions on the theoretical and statistical foundations with hands-on data analysis and interpretation, enabling participants to apply the concepts using real-world crop improvement datasets.\r\nThe training covered a broad spectrum of emerging technologies and quantitative approaches, including sparse testing, mixed models, genomics, GWAS, genomic prediction, predictive breeding, genome editing, and breeding simulation.
