Around 40 farmers actively participated in the interaction program.\r\nThe demonstrations are being carried out under the SAFAR project funded by the Government of Odisha. During the visit, Dr. Pratap Bhattacharyya, Principal Investigator of the project, along with Dr. Rubina Khanam and Dr. Dillip R. Sarangi, scientists of ICAR-CRRI, provided a detailed explanation on the benefits and field performance of EcoLime+.\r\nEcoLime+, a composite value-added product, supplies essential nutrients such as phosphorus, silicon, calcium, and magnesium. It plays a significant role in acid soil management by increasing soil pH, which in turn enhances the availability of phosphorus in acidic soils.
