The inaugural session was graced by Dr. G.A.K. Kumar, Director, ICAR-CRRI, and Dr. Pratap Bhattacharyya, Head, CPD. In his address, Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of establishing RMO facilities at the village level and highlighted skill development as a pathway for self-employment opportunities for rural youth. The programme was also attended by Dr. P.C. Jena, Dr. S. Priyadarsani, Dr. M. Debanath, Dr. NN Jambhulkar, and other staff members of ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack.\r\nAs part of the practical exposure, participants visited authorized Kubota and Kamco machinery service centres at Cuttack and Bhubaneswar to gain hands-on experience with spare parts and machine operations.\r\nThe valedictory session of the training programme was held in the Engineering Workshop of ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack, on 28 February 2026, in the presence of Director, Dr. G.A.K. Kumar.
