Anju Devi, Block Pramukh, Jainagar, attended as Guests of Honour along with other dignitaries.\r\nMore than 12 stalls were set up, showcasing advancements in agriculture and allied sectors by various state departments, including agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and fisheries, along with NGOs and FPOs. These stalls disseminated information on government programmes and schemes aimed at benefiting farmers.\r\nThe event focused on promoting commercial farming to enhance farmers\u2019 livelihoods and income security. Farmers from different districts exhibited superior-quality farm produce, which was evaluated under various categories by expert scientists from KVK and the State Department of Agriculture.
