Kumar, Director, ICAR-CRRI, who highlighted the Institute\u2019s major achievements and ongoing research initiatives. During the visit, Shri Saxena visited the research fields and laboratories and expressed keen interest in interacting with the scientists.\r\nHe encouraged the research community to further strengthen research-led interventions for promoting sustainable and climate-resilient rice-based agriculture in Odisha. Emphasizing the importance of last-mile delivery, he stressed that scientific technologies must effectively reach farmers\u2019 fields and be widely adopted to enhance productivity, ensure better incomes, and improve livelihoods.
