His contributions to nutritional security through the development of biofortified rice varieties and stress-tolerant cultivars like CR Dhan 414 and CR Dhan 412 have been pivotal for climate-resilient agriculture.\r\nDr. Milan Kumar Lal, Scientist (Senior Scale), has been awarded the NAAS Young Scientist Award 2025 for his pioneering work in plant physiology, particularly in enhancing the nutritional quality of starchy crops and developing stress mitigation strategies.
